Fritha Land is an illustrator and artist with a bright, playful aesthetic. Fritha loves African fabrics, Indian Saris and the clash of cultures at the Edinburgh Festival where tweeds and cashmere mix with festival chic and circus costumes.
She is influenced by vintage toys and board games, psychedelia, Japanese art and design and the hippy commune she lived on with her parents as child in Scotland.
Fritha studied for an MA in Communication Design with Illustration with Andrew Foster (Foz) at Central St Martins in London. Fritha also studied 3D digital animation at Glasgow School of Art at the House for an Art Lover and holds a 1st class degree in business with tourism from Napier University in Edinburgh.
